September 2015 astrological event..TONIGHT.

Supermoon

The moon is a wonderful thing. Lovers kiss under it, Wiccans worship her. Tonite I want to watch her as she grants us an audience.

"A supermoon will be the star attraction on Sunday night and will coincide with a total lunar eclipse. This full moon will be the closest of 2015 and will appear up to 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than a full moon at its farthest point from Earth, according to NASA."

Today looks clear enough here in Vermont which is a good sign. With no clouds, she will be easy to watch. I have always loved going out when the moon is full putting out my crystals to charge.

One time when my girl was 12 I took her and a friend to Wells Beach, Maine. I loved going out at night spur of the moment so I told the girls lets go to the ocean to collect moon water.

We get there, the moon was full and you could see where the moon was glowing on the ocean in a glowing line straight up to shore. I gave the girls the bottle I had brought and down they ran to the shore dipping the bottle where the moon was kissing the ocean filling the bottle up.

As they came running back, my daughter was excitingly telling me where the glow of the moon hit the water it was warm Mom. Then I found a very sandy wet beach towel and thanked Mother Moon.

So I am really looking forward to seeing this happen and since my hubby is stuck in the hospital I'm gonna call him and watch it together.
